拍品呈直筒状，小巧别致，盈手可握。筒身外壁装饰清代传统题材“九秋图”，绘桂花、菊花、秋海棠等各色花卉。众花争艳，趣意盎然，寓意九秋同庆、共贺丰收。笔筒勾描渲染，随类赋彩，画面构图虽小，却气象万千，充满了文人意趣。众花布局看似分株独立，实则顾盼有情，气通意合，实为道光官窑粉彩器之精品佳作。此笔筒为道光官窑烧造的极为少见的文房用瓷，彰显了帝王清逸脱俗的审美品位。北京故宫博物院藏有同时期釉里红和仿竹雕品种（参见《故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系—青花釉里红》下，页195、196，图179、120），与本品形制一致，可供参考比较。 参阅：《故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系—青花釉里红》下册，上海科学技术出版社、商务印书馆（香港）有限公司，2000年，页195，图179；页196，图180
