款识：芝云氏造 篆书底款|此壶选泥讲究，色蕴灰暗古拙，为典型曼生时期泥料特点。壶呈平盖、桥钮、直流、折把、敛口、鼓腰、圜底、乳丁三足，轮廓周整，浑朴有致。壶身行书刻铭《易经》“天茶星守东井占之吉得茗饮、子冶”。壶身另侧刻一纵恣竹枝，作为文人最爱之一的“竹”题材，运用于器，充分体现当时文人清雅之风。造型简练，透现着一股刚韧之气。
