An early 18th Century circa 1710 Queen Anne walnut bachelors chest of drawers. The bank of two over three drawers having a quarter panel veneer oversized circular medallion panel ogee top with satinwood & ebony string inlay and heart shape panels to the corners. The sides having good show wood veneer panels. The drawer fascias having further oval inlay stringing and borders with later George I brass armorial hardware swing handles & lock plates. The drawers having original painted blue interiors and front to back drawer linings to the lower drawers. Raised on later bracket feet. The chest having section of loss to the top with wear commensurate with age, veneer loss and early replacements. Sign of old worm to the original legs but overall in good condition. Measures approx; 88cm x 86cm x 55cm.
