该壶造型仿自中国商周青铜礼器提梁卣。盖上有蘑菇型摘钮，壶腹上方、盖面和颈部镶嵌兽面纹，网底为均匀细槌目纹。肩前后部有环付，与提梁相衔。腹部延伸出兽首壶流，兽口圆张为出水处。壶腹下方满布不规则变形槌目纹，与壶体上半部肌理形成鲜明的对比。整体造型古朴，制作精美，令人叹为观止。
