A Carved Stone 'Buddhist' Stele NORTHEN QI DYNASTY (550-577) 北齊 漢白玉雙觀音像 carved in high relief to show a pair of twin figures of standing Guanyin flanked to either side with short attendants. Each Guanyin shown standing above a compressed domelike lotus stand, clad in draping robes fastened with sashes at the waist. All above a rectangular base, and back by a worn aureole. Height 12 1/2 x width 8 x depth 4 in., 31 x 20.4 x 10.1 cm.
