Two Jade Carvings of Animals 白玉臥獾及青白玉瑞雞the first a white jade figure of a recumbent badger, shown with the head turned over slender paws, and rounded ears over a pointed snout, the slender body with sticking ribs and a curled tail; the second a celadon toned figure of a crested rooster of rounded form, carved with lightly incised feather details. Length of larger 2 7/8 in., 7.3 cm.
