An Apple Green and White Jadeite 'Buddha's Hand Citron and Insects' Brush Washer LATE QING DYNASTY carved in the form of a bisected hollowed fruit with five upwardly curling tendrils opposite a meandering bifurcated leafy stem from which it issues, the pale stone running diagonally with vivid green tones, carved to show a pair of insects, all raised above a reticulated hardwood stand carved with pomegranates. Length 5 1/8 in., 13 cm.
