A Small Pair of Greyish White Jade Covered Boxes 白玉壽字紋蓋盒一對 each rounded example slightly compressed at the top and and base, meeting at a pair of keyfrets bands about the center. Carved to the sides in low relief with circling bats, the center with ashouroundel. The milky white stone faintly blushed with russet patches. Width 2 x height 1 5/8 in., 5.1 x 4.13 cm.
