An Inside Painted Rock Crystal 'Boys' Snuff Bottle YE ZHONGSAN (1875-1945), DATED 1898 葉仲三戊戌（1898）年作水晶内畫童子圖鼻烟壺 the stone of pale smoky tone well-hollowed and carved to a compressed rounded rectangular form, all rising above a straight sectioned footring. Painted with a soft palette to show numerous joyful boys playing in a landscape; finished with a domed translucent pink tourmaline stopper. Height 2 7/8 in., 7.3 cm.
