The field with open design of wide horizontal bands , containing multicoloured octagons each with hooked palmette centerpiece devided by half step lozenge stripes. A zig zag side open stripe at each side, approx. 320cm x 177cm. Apart of slight localised wear in places and a few small holes at one end this kilim is in good usable condition. Salvages original slightly fraying. Ends with original knotted fringes touch of wear at fringe at one corner. Elegant and sheldom found type in the sales.
