Light blue and sandy yellow floral arabesque spandrels on an ivory border of serrated palmettes, arabesques and delicate floral vine between arabesques and plain stripes, approx. 10ft.2in.x5ft11in.(309cm x 180cm). Very good example for this type with well drawn design and very good colour combination. This carpet has full pile of very soft and lustrous wool and part-silk, used in the field and borders. ends and salvages original. Very fine weave 10x9 knots per sq.cm.
