Deep and circular, inlaid on the interior four chrysanthemum sprays alternating four other pomegranate sprays centering a further inlaid medallion of a chrysanthemum flower encircled within a cloud collar, the exterior inlaid in white slip with a repeated band of grasses above a wide frieze of chrysanthemum roundels surrounded by curling foliage resting on a narrower band of upright stiff leaves outlined overall, the whole applied with a celadon glaze, three spur marks in the shallow recessed circular base.
