FIGURE PAINTING BY MIN ZHEN W.67cm H.132cm Description: Min Zhen, also called Zhengqi, is one of the Eight Eccentric Artists in Yangzhou. He is good at painting landscapes, figures, flowers and birds, mostly in the realistic sense, with strange brushwork and ink, and occasionally in the work of brushwork. His figure paintings are the most distinctive, with concise and natural lines, and a realistic look. Min Zhen's figure paintings are of two kinds: rough and fine brushwork. The rough brushwork is sketchy, with smooth ink and brushstrokes; the fine brushwork is neat and gorgeous. Additional photographs and Condition reports are provided by request as a courtesy to our clients, as such any condition report is only an opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact.
