玉质光滑细腻，表面受红褐色沁，沁色自然。片状略呈椭圆形，中有一圆孔，近似于鸡心的形状。器体扁薄，采用镂空和极细的阴线雕刻出卷云纹、勾云纹，线条流畅、犀利，两侧镂雕出凤纹。佩下部器底出廓，形如长尾分歧，上以线刻节纹及羽纹，别致灵动，与佩身气韵相连，相得益彰。此佩正面微拱凸显其体态饱满，活泼灵动，阴刻线细微遒劲。通体打磨精细，匠心独具，是玉器中的难得珍品。
