A 19th century Meissen porcelain figure group 'The Broken Bridge', after the model by Michel Victor Acier, depicting a garlanded lady and gallant in 18th century dress, on a rocky mound with broken planked bridge before a stream, a cherub at their feet and cupid behind, brightly enamelled with gilt details, on fluted gilt encrusted oval base, blue crossed swords mark and incised F63 verso, further numbered 47, h.26cm Condition report: No apparent restoration. Colours and glazes all very good. No losses other than some minor chips to a small number of lfowers only. An excellent example.
