此尊紫铜为胎，形体饱满圆润，形似苹果，故名之曰“苹果尊”。平口，短直径，弧腹浑圆，底承玉环式矮圈足。口沿及足底均予以鎏金，外部通体以宝蓝色釉为地，掐丝满饰缠枝莲纹，朵花劲放，娇艳欲滴，或抑或仰，姿态各异，其间衬以细叶卷枝，花瓣层叠有序，枝叶繁茂，挺而有劲，好不热闹。其间四只凤凰展翅，身姿妙曼，舞动于花丛之中，表现出较明显明代中期珐铜胎珐琅器制品的风格。 此种纹饰的作品习见于明代中晚期，譬如香港苏富比2008年10月8日，售出的一件“明十六世纪·铜胎掐丝珐琅穿花飞凤图盌”，编号2684.另见有故宫博物院所藏“明·掐丝珐琅凤纹盘口瓶”。录于《故宫博物院藏品大系·珐琅器编·1》，安徽美术出版社、紫禁城出版社，2011年，页238，图117。
