An excellent Jamacoaque shamanic whistle figure from Ecuador, ca. 300 BC - 400 AD. This beautiful figure is 5-1/2 inches high and portrays a shaman wearing an enormous ornament-studded headdress and feathered suit. He is further adorned with multiple bracelets. Intact, with vivid gold and blue paint, as well as strong mineral deposits. Clear tone on the whistle. Cf. Usillos "El Eje del Universo", page 166. (JM1019)
