Japanese ,Meiji Period, impressive size, vase with horse figure in relief galloping towards the viewer, through clouds, its hair flying in the wind and nostrils flared, eyes alert. To the viewers right are several Japanese characters. Vase has a wide body and short neck. H.14.5" (36.8 cm), D. 10.5" (26.6 cm) Condition: good overall condition with dings to the left and right of the horse and behind the design. A few scuffs and nicks around body. Wear on base.
