王習三 水晶內畫'水憩‘鼻煙壺 Chinese. 20th century. Of rounded form, the snuff bottle exquisitely painted to the inside with three dogs next to rocks and bamboo in a garden setting, the upper right inscribed and signed Xi San with two seal marks and dated to year of 1964. The reverse painted with two playful dogs next to rockwork and orchids, the body flanked with pair of raised mtyhical beast heads. 水晶製成，微透明，細膩勻淨，品質上乘。直頸，溜肩，直壁，壺體左右飾以雙鋪獸耳，橢圓形底足。內畫“蘭花”“山石”“嬉戲的小狗”，畫工精細，構圖嚴謹。 “甲辰年冬月 習三作”。王習三，中國冀派內畫泰斗、中國工藝美術大師王習三先生，1938 年生於北京，拜著名藝人葉曉峰、葉菶琪為師，是祖傳五代的“葉派”藝術的第一位外姓傳人。二十世紀五十年代末，王習三熟練掌握了“葉派”內畫技法後，把國畫的皺、擦、染、點、勾、撕等技法引入內畫，將國畫藝術中的工筆“撕毛法”引入鼻煙壺。 來源：加州奇諾崗私人收藏
