DANTE ELSNER (POLISH, 1920-1997): A grey Raku pottery vessel, with incised mark to base, 21cm high, together with a crank stoneware bowl by Borak, decorated with rings of brown glaze, 35 cm diameter, a brown stoneware vessel by Borak, on cylindrical feet, 18cm high, both with incised signature to base, and a twin handled vase, decorated with a thick glaze and overpainted with a floral decoration, 25cm high (4) Note: This lot is accompanied by the original receipt for the Dante Elsner vessel, documenting its purchase from the Fitzwilliam Museum Cambridge in 1985.
