An Original Chromogenic 1975 Print of Muhammad Ali by Carl Fischer (Used for Ali-Frazier III Closed Circuit Program) Carl Fischer, photographer and graphic designer, was born in 1924 and raised in Brooklyn. Alongside art director George Lois, Fischer is responsible for many of the most memorable and influential images of Muhammad Ali. Following their collaborations on Ali for Esquire, Fischer and Lois teamed in 1975 to produce the closed circuit program for the third bout between Ali and Joe Frazier. Among the images from their photo session with Ali is this tight crop of the champion's striking face that would be used for the cover of the program.
