An early 20th century Siamese (Thai) unmarked silver bowl, Chiang Mai circa 1920 Of compressed circular form, the body with embossed decoration of figural scenes from Ramakien with trees and textured decoration. All below an embossed band of foliate scrolls and fruit, and above a band of stylised acanthus leaves. The underside with a chased makers symbol of a singha or chinthe within concentric circles.
