此文房洗呈椭圆造型敛口，丰肩，鼓腹渐收，圈足，洗外壁施黄釉。整器造型敦实有力，釉面温润，上绘青花淡描四季花卉纹，用红、蓝、绿、黄等各种彩料填满花颈、叶梗等。器身开光博古图，图案细致，构图有致。此洗器型周正饱满，料彩运用自然得当，博古图写意生动，总体来讲做工难度较大，拍卖市场中鲜有同类作品。
