此盘胎质细腻，胎体厚实，板沿口，弧壁，浅圈足，底心内凹，露灰白胎色。诚为钧瓷之佳美者，其形制为金代典型的折沿盘，其色淡蓝，静穆湉谧，见有玫瑰紫斑附饰其上，妍丽隽美，犹如蓝天中的彩霞，色彩丰富，相映成辉，自古，钧窑见红者即为上品。
钧窑属宋代五代名窑之一，被称之为“国之瑰宝”，釉色华丽夺目、种类之多不胜枚举。
