此玉壶春瓶为景德镇元代青花的典型器，瓶口呈八方形，瓶口外撇，长颈，鼓腹，修长俊美，胎薄体轻。瓶通体满布青花纹饰，以不同风格的缠枝花卉为主体，又自上而下辅以蕉叶纹、卷草纹、莲瓣纹等元代流行纹样，辅助纹饰繁而不乱，层层呼应，相互映衬，既有承宋代隽秀素雅之风，又见元青花之异域色彩。
