Soviet propaganda plate after Adamovich ''He who does not work does not eat'', Russia, 20th century, porcelain, white glaze, polychrome on-glaze painting, flat plate with wavy rim. Depicting a portrait of Lenin, a red star with a hammer and sickle above a half double-headed eagle, the monogram RSFSR, two ration coupons with the date 1921. Decor probably based on a motif by Mikhail Mikhailovich Adamovich (1884-1947) from 1921, on the bottom onglaze blue pseudo-mark of the St. Petersburg State Porcelain Manufactory (hammer/sickle and cogwheel) and onglaze black inscribed in Cyrillic, Ø. 24 cm, chip on the underside.
