According to the tradition with a buffalo head and eight more heads. In his 34 arms he is holding several attributes, partly movable. The apron of skulls, human heads and hands is movable, too. With his 16 feet he is trampling on divine, human and animal beings. In close embrace with his female companion Vajravetali, a wrathful emanation of Sarasvati, who is holding a kapala bowl and a katriki knife. The separately cast base maybe originally closed. As conqueror of the death (Yama Antaka) is he a wrathful aspect of Manjusri, found mostly in the practice of the Gelugpa school and texts by Tsongkhapa and Pabongka.
