PROVENANCE: From private collectors in Gables Estates, Miami, Florida. Measurements: Height: 6.8 cm, Diam: 39.7cm Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Lotus Porcelain Plate. The plates has a broad wide central interior, rounded mouth lip, thick and large, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of lotus blossom interspersed foliage, scrolling ruyi and interlocking tendril. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
