All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in grayish underglazed base color which contrast against the Ge design color. Distinctive GE crackled glaze also known as jinsi tiexian which translates to mean gold floss and iron thread which details the look of several lines that appear in the crackled surface. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark.
