Catalogue Note: The Probyn crest almost certainly refers to Sir Edmund Probyn (1678-1742), a circuit judge in Brecon, Glamorgan and Radnor in 1721, rising to Chief Baron of the Exchequer in 1740. After his death, these passed to his wife who was sister of Mrs Jennens of Weston
