A pair of silver girandoles with plug-in attachments, Breslau, Christian Friedrich Mentzel, circa 1750Hollow worked and spirally repousséd feet with baluster stems and sockets. The detachable, en suite designed top pieces with drip pans and screw-mounted candle holders. The outer edge of the feet with mark and assayer's zigzag line on the base.
