The later inscription reads 'Presented to Mrs J. B. Morison on occasion Launch of S. D. Nebula, Inverness 7th Sept. 1918'.The naval drifter Nebula was a steel screw steamer built for the Royal Navy in 1918 by Rose Street Foundry & Engineering Co. Ltd. of Inverness. She was sold off in 1920 and had a number of name changes with changes of ownership, again seeing Admiralty service in harbour duties from 1941 to 1945, and was broken up in 1955.
