A small George III silver salver by Robert Jones (1) and John Scofield, London, 1775 With gadroon borders and three hoof feet centred by a crest of a coronet with a phoenix rising from the flames, the base initialled contemporaneously 'E.R' and with a scratch weight '7=4', diam. 15cm, 6oz (186gm). Provenance: Purchased Mallory, Bath, 1990.
