After the illustration from the "De Humani Corporis Fabrica Libri Septem" by Andreas Vesalius (1514-1564), publ. 1543. Label on the reverse with reference to the exhibition L'Europe Humaniste (Palais de Baux-Arts, Brussels, 1954/55). Ebonized wave pattern moulded frame. Slight age damage. Worn.
