A mixed group of ten ceramic bowls, jars and cups, including seven Indus Valley vessels, some painted with geometric motifs; one bowl presenting a whorl of Vedic characters radiating from a central circle on the inner face of the bowl. 2.1 kg total, 6.7-16.4cm (2 1/2 - 6 1/2"). Property of a London gallery; formerly in the collection of M.A.; previously acquired on the UK art market in the 1990s. [10] Condition Report Fair condition, some chipped or repaired.
