A carved light carnelian duck modelled in the round with the head facing the tail, resting along the back, legs and feet tucked under the body, wings folded, incised detailing to the wing feathers and eyes, hole beneath beak for suspension. 3.9 grams, 21mm (1"). Property of a London gentleman; formerly with Mahboubian Gallery, London, UK; acquired before 1972. Condition Report Fine condition.
