题识：戴传贤季陶。钤印：传贤 释文：孝子之事亲也，居则致其敬，养则致其乐，病则致其忧，丧则致其哀，祭则致其严。五者备矣，然后能事亲。戴季陶（1890-1949），名良弼，字选堂、季陶，又名传贤，浙江吴兴人。1905年留学日本大学法科。1910年加入同盟会。辛亥革命后任秘书。1924年参加国民党一大，任中央委员、政治局委员、中宣部部长，黄埔军校政治部主任。中山大学校长。1928年至1948年任国民政府委员兼考试院院长。
