Late 19th, early 20th century signed French Edmond Tetard .950 silver footed jardiniere with shell decoration and openwork surround. Accompanied by a fitted silverplate liner - signed Ruolz. Stamped to underside with a 1st standard French export silver hallmark of Mercury representing .950 silver, and a maker's mark of Edmond Tetard (active 1880-1903, Paris). Total approx. weight of jardiniere is 48.80 troy oz (gross) excluding insert. From an E 72nd St, Manhattan estate. Dimensions: jardiniere measures approx. 15" w x 11.25" d x 5.125" h. Condition Report Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents.
