钤印：章炳麟印、太炎款识：和致芳。香凝女士正之。民国十七年秋，章炳麟。 上款人何香凝（1878-1972），号双清楼主，广东南海人。同盟会会员。廖仲恺夫人。全国人大常委会副委员长、全国政协副主席。中国美术家协会主席。中国国民党左派的杰出代表、著名政治活动家、画家。章炳麟（1869-1936），原名学乘，字枚叔，号太炎。浙江余杭人。民主革命家、思想家、著名学者，研究范围涉及小学、历史、哲学、政治等等，著述甚丰。光绪三十二年（1906年）参加同盟会，主编同盟会机报《民报》，与改良派展开论战。宣统三年（1911年）上海光复后回国，主编《大共和日报》，并任孙中山总统府枢密顾问。曾参加张謇统一党，散布“革命军兴，革命党消”言论。
