此器以和阗碧玉雕制而成，色泽碧绿，局部带墨点。器体较大，器口折沿，作八角菱花形，器腹深直，器底浑圆平整。整器造型敦实优美，包浆浑厚，应为实用器具。 参考：此器与宋代玉器艺术馆所藏的“宋 青玉葵口洗”造型相似，参见《孚尹流光·五璋山房藏宋代玉器》P98。
