此件器物整体为檀香木所雕刻而成，造型则是仿制了犀牛角，底座和盖体用的是紫檀，盖钮为寿山。器身满工雕刻人物山水，底座为灵芝造型，整体采用了镂空雕刻，浮雕等技艺手法。器物包浆莹润，造型优美，为清代独特造型，并且用檀木代替了犀角，说明古人对动物的敬爱怜悯，但不失对器物的美好期望。千顷堂旧藏
