A GE-TYPE CRACKLED ‘BAMBOO’ BOTTLE VASE
China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). The compressed globular body is surmounted by a tall cylindrical neck with three horizontal ribs, spaced further apart than the ribs at the body, and tapering to the wide rounded mouth, covered overall in a celadon glaze suffused with dark grey and russet crackles.
Condition: With minor firing flaws, one glaze chip to mouth and tiny notches to foot rim, otherwise good condition.
