A LARGE SINOTIBETAN POLYCHROME WOOD BOX Sino-Tibetan, c. 1800. The rectangular box finely painted in relief to the top with two dignitaries, a musician and a deer, the front side with three tigers, and the shorter sides with a Buddhist lion, all amid fine lotus scroll décor. Set with iron hinges and fittings.

Condition: Overall good condition commensurate with age. With wear, age cracks, few paint flakes and small nicks here and there. A couple of metal fittings missing.
