Japan, 19th century
Painted in ink and color on silk, with a silk brocade frame, and mounted as a hanging scroll, the jiku (roller ends) carved from bone. Depicted are two red-crowned cranes standing beneath a pine tree. Signature/inscription and seal in the lower right corner.

Condition: Overall the painting presents well with wear, creasing, tears, and staining to the painting. The mounting with wear, tears, and soiling.
