A FINE INDONESIAN MINANGKABAO KRIS Indonesia, Sumatra, early 20^th century. The fine kris of the Minangkabau people with a wavy iron gandar (blade) cast with its protruding thorn-shaped ganja. Set with an elaborate brass colored Mendak and a hand-carved wood Patra (handle). The hand-crafted wood warangka and the silver-colored metal pendok (sheath), showing incised ornamental patterns.

Condition: Good condition with usual traces of wear and age.
