無量壽佛亦稱為阿彌陀佛、無量光佛，密教則以阿彌陀佛之應化身為無量光佛，其報身為無量壽佛。觀無量壽經曰：『無量壽佛身量無邊，非是凡夫心力所及。』於密教為五佛中之西方尊，於胎藏界曰無量壽，於金剛界曰阿彌陀。無量壽佛姿態典雅的坐於蓮花座上，額頭平直寬闊，面龐飽滿，兩頰圓潤，面容沈靜。項鍊、臂釧、足釧俱足。披肩披於身後，由肩處繞下，飄帶飄於身體兩側。雙手結禪定印，托無量壽瓶。上身袒裸，下身著裙。裙擺層疊垂落於蓮台之上。蓮座精緻，蓮瓣寬厚，富有立體感，整齊規整排列。此件造像展現了16世紀造像的成熟風貌，保存狀況完好，非常難得。
