此件插屏以紫檀木制成，屏心正方，攒边打框。中心正圆形开光，正面满工雕刻人物故事，背面嵌瘿木圆芯。画面有树荫森森，花草丰茂，雀鸟生机，亭台楼阁屋宇隐匿其中，更有小溪川流，渔舟泛上。人物或行走或清谈，或观景或小憩，各具神态。插屏底座两端立柱开槽，卡嵌屏心。柱头雕双层莲花，两侧配缠枝草叶花牙，下方双鼓形足。立柱间两横枨，内设镂空草龙纹花板，灯草线牙板。整器美观精致，和谐统一。
