鸡心佩由玉韘演变而来，是古人拉弓射箭时扣弦用的一种工具，后演变为一种装饰佩饰。此鸡心佩采用高浮雕工艺，具有汉代遗风。中镂一圆形孔。其上随形高浮雕龙凤纹，龙凤弓身卷尾趴伏于玉佩上下两端，曲颈回首，四目相视。龙凤的形象亦带有浓厚的汉代风格，凤纹喙嘴圆眼，翎毛飘逸上扬，以细密阴刻线表现羽翅，蛟龙蜿蜒矫健，雕刻线条卷曲流畅，行云流水。局部带有红沁及白点，皆是年代久远的痕迹，为难得珍品。
