绿度母为二十一救度佛母之首，传为观世音菩萨所幻化，作为救苦救难的本尊佛母，若修持本尊密法，可不入生死轮回，祛一切病苦，并能广开智慧，消灾增福，延年益寿，在命终时往生极乐世界。此像头戴宝冠，发髻高耸，宝冠上饰佛首，宽额丰颐，面容和煦，双目微合，表情慈祥。身著天衣绸裙，半跏趺坐于仰覆双重式束腰莲座上，一手扶膝，一手当胸，两手均敷出莲花，上缘至双肩，左腿盘坐，右足下垂踩于莲花之上。整件作品制作精良，铸刻细腻，造型典雅。
