此塔嚴格依照藏式佛塔的儀軌鑄造而成，通體銅鎏金製成，金水渾厚，造型莊嚴肅穆，雙層蓮花底，頂端分七層，鑲嵌綠松石、青金石、瑪瑙裝飾，雕飾精美，繁縟華麗，內供奉舍利佛，做工精湛，保存完好，乃不可多得上品佛塔。
